Pinched are a series of vessels inspired by the formal aspects of movement. Lofted in Solidworks and slipcasted in all porcelain, or a combination of porcelain and bronze, Pinched form shows movement and stability in various materials.

Form was then designed in Solidworks using the Loft feature.
It was then prepared to be 3D printed on Simplify3D.
fabrication
Pinched was first 3D printed on a Lulzbot Taz5. After the form was made, it was then used to create a mold for the slip casting process. A separate mold was also created to be used for the casted bronze portion. Once the bronze is casted, it is then grinded and sanded down to a smooth finish.
